Purpose without a Destination

Dear Self,

I think the purpose of your life for this season is faithfulness.

Like going for a walk. When you go for a walk the purpose is to go for a walk, talk with your friend (sometimes yourself), and enjoy the journey. The purpose is not a destination.

Some might see it as purposeless because you’re not physically going anywhere. But you’re going somewhere in your heart and relationships.

And that’s okay. It shows you’re actually being purposeful in the things that matter.

So, instead of a destination or result the purpose of your life right now is to be faithful in the things that matter most.

If you’re having trouble wrapping your brain around this idea, that’s okay. Go for a walk and you’ll see what I mean!
