By definition a risk is any situation that involves exposure to danger.
In other words: LIFE.
That doesn’t mean we stop living. It just means we have to learn to take risks. And, in all honesty, it’s not that we need to learn how to take risks, we need to learn to follow through.
When we “take the leap” it feels right. However, when we begin to free-fall it feels all wrong. We forget the exhilarating feeling of embracing our destiny and freak out. Instead of tucking and turning like a gymnast we starfish and land on our face, crushing our dreams and self-esteem.
We all know how to take risks – it’s called life – we just forget to follow through when the falling gets scary.
P.S. What risk are you taking this month?
